Our next Craftalicious Artinoon will be held in the spring school holidays, when we will be making kites. Bookings will open on 15 September. Please note bookings are essential.

Children's Book Week Activities

We hope that you are all enjoying Children's Book Week. If you haven't already visited us this week why not pop into your local library and see our special displays and enter our lucky draw prize.  All you have to do is borrow any junior or young adult book with your library card.  Entries for this competition close tomorrow night!

The Children's Book Week books are very popular at the moment and you may not find them on the shelves. Please ask our friendly staff for help, we are more than happy to put a reserve on any book you want.

PJ Storytime

On Thursday 21 August at 6pm Glenquarie Library will have their very first PJ Storytime. Why don't you put on your PJs, grab your family, bring your teddy and join us for a special storytime in the library at night.

The Reading Hour

 

We will be participating in The Reading Hour on Tuesday 19 August at 6pm with a special family PJ Storytime at HJ Daley Library. 

We hope you can come and join us for an hour of stories, fun and games celebrating the joy of reading. Come in your PJs and bring your favourite teddy and join us for a special storytime in the library at night.

Following this special storytime event, why not browse the library and borrow some books to continue the reading experience at home together as a family?

Baby Read 'n' Rhyme

Come along to a very special storytime for the very young to celebrate Children's Book Week.

On Monday we are holding a special Baby Read 'n' Rhyme Session for children aged 0 - 18 months.

Happy Children's Book Week Everyone!

 

We are celebrating Children's Book Week with a variety of events and activities throughout the week.

 

Why not pop in to your local library this week and see what is going on.

For the babies we have a special Baby Read 'n' Rhyme session at HJ Daley Library on Monday 18 August from 10.30am to 11am.

On Tuesday 19 August at 6pm why not come and join in the fun for the Reading Hour. We are having a very special Family PJ Storytime at HJ Daley Library.

On Thursday 21 August at 6pm Glenquarie Library will have their very first PJ Storytime. Why don't you put on your PJs, grab your family, bring your teddy and join us for a special storytime in the library at night.

We also have special storytimes in our regular time slots and displays in all branches of the library as well as our lucky prize draw.

For any child or young adult who borrows with their library card at any branch of the library from Friday 15 August to Friday 22 August can enter our Lucky Draw Prize. There will be two winners from every branch. Entries open today and close 22 August. All winners will be notified on Friday 30 August.
