PJ Storytime

Put on your PJs, grab your family, bring your favourite teddy and join us for a special storytime in the library at night.

PJ Storytime is this Thursday January 9 at HJ Daley Library starting at 6.30pm. 
        

PJ storytime features stories, songs, rhymes, craft and a bedtime snack. Please come and share in the magic of books.    This activity is suggested for children 3 -10 years.   Please come and join us, to book your place please ring 4645 4444.

Summer Reading Club

Thank you to everyone who participated in our second Summer Reading Club. We were very excited to have 457 children register over the school holidays.

The Summer Reading Club concluded for this year with a party held at HJ Daley Library. We had over 100 children and their families come and join us for an afternoon of music, games, food, prizes, balloon animals and a special guest appearance by the Cat in the Hat.

We hope you all enjoyed your summer reading and that it is the start of a wonderful year of reading.

School Holiday Activities

Our popular school holiday activities start next week. 

Our first activity is for our Bookalicious members.  This is a special show called Pass the Poetry Please.  Pass the Poetry Please combines poems past, present, fast, slow, funny and sad with costumed characters and baffling illusions.  This is a poetry show without any boring bits!!! This will be held at HJ Daley Library on Tuesday 8 January starting at 10.30am. If you’d like more information about this activity or Bookalicious our junior book club please phone 4645 4444.
